Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do!  Please see the next question to find out how to determine your shipping costs.

How much does shipping cost?

When you add the items to your cart, and go through the checkout process, you will be prompted for your shipping address.  The system will automatically calculate your shipping costs for you depending on the weight of the items you are buying, and the delivery address.

When will my preorder ship?

From time-to-time, Experience Lights may sell items on back order, or make items available on pre-sale or pre-order.  In all of these cases, the product is not yet available to ship.  When you view the item in our store, you will see the estimated shipping date on the item page.

Experience Lights has a stellar record of shipping on time, however, in the unlikely event we cannot ship on the date promised, you will be contacted directly for next steps.

Can I purchase in-stock items with my pre-order?

We do not offer split shipment in cases of mixed orders, where some items are in-stock, and some are not.  Your order will ship only when all items are available and ready to be shipped.

If you would like the in-stock items to ship in advance of your pre-order items, you must purchase them in a separate order and pay separate shipping charges.

Do you offer software support (xLights, FPP, etc...)?

Experience Lights LLC provides hardware for light shows.  The use of our hardware does not require our customers use of any particular sequencer or player to function properly.  We realize that many of our customers use software such as xLights and FPP to control their light shows, but we do not provide support for any software applications that are not produced by Experience Lights.

We may from time to time provide videos of how to do things specific tasks in software, however those videos are for reference only, and are provided as-is, without guarantee or warranty.

We fully support our hardware, and the function of our hardware, but will ask our customers utilize YouTube, forums and the dynamic Facebook community to find answers to questions that are specific to the software they are using.

Can you tell me how to wire my product or manage heat?

Some of our bare-board products are on the "Do it yourself" side of the spectrum.  (eg. Pixel2AC9, Pixel2DCR3 and Pixel2DC9). For these boards, we are unable to provide any direct assistance, or wiring instructions for your specific application.

Additionally, heat management for these DIY boards are solely the responsibility of the customer, depending on the specific use-case, and current draw requirements.

Experience Lights LLC is not responsible for how our customers manage heat, whether it be from heat sinks, or fans.
